know you could drink you could drink but you know me I have like a half a glass of wine once a week that's it I don't drink nothing else a half a glass of wine remember I said I eat pasta once a week I that's the same time I eat I drink the wine because I have a nice Italian Dish that we make at home by the way all my tomato sauce is all all organic I don't eat tomatoes that are not organic so my source is everything's organic so yeah alcohol uh I mentioned insulin oh you got to watch lavender oils okay like lavender here here's I'm going to show it to you this is a lavender essential oil don't do not put this on your body I don't know about that yeah okay I'm going to tell you lavender men should not put lavender on their body because for some reason that lavender plant it it it doesn't help testosterone it helps a woman with her estrogen but it doesn't help a man so any lavender oils do not put lavender on your body interesting tip of there I yeah yeah I just had I just had to say say that because uh somebody might put like you know some lavender oil on you that might be with a girl and all of a sudden something you know you your tool doesn't work you know what I mean so you got to watch so I just want to Enlighten you know the audience um healthy fats I didn't talk about healthy fats olive oil very very important olive oil now watch this sorry on on that topic uh are you familiar with Brian John Johnson Brian Johnson no I'm not he's the longevity expert so he's he's come up with a protocol called blueprint and uh he's a massive massive advocate for extra virgin olive oil and he basically explains how it's in in his opinion and he is an expert he spent millions of dollars uh in biohacking and in uh the Quest for longevity and he's reversed he hasn't reversed his actual age but he's reversed his physical age and his um his basically all his markers of Aging by many many years he's currently the most um uh not the not the most studied man but he's had the most experiments done on him Brian Johnson really interesting and he's a huge advocate for um for olive oil Brian sorry no so wait wait yes extra version olive oil so yeah so let me talk about this I I just wrote his name down Brian John I'm going to look him up but through through my years you know anti-aging um I'm going to show you I I take a glass of water mhm I put two tablespoons of olive oil I put it in the water mix it up and I drink it 5 days a week that's what I do five days a week right I drink the olive oil now when you buy olive oil look at the back of the bottom mhm if it comes from five different or six different countries put it back on the Shelf do not buy it olive oil has to be from one country only so the olive oil I buy it only comes from Greece mhm Italy or Morocco I don't buy no other olive oil outside of those three and I make sure on the label it comes from one place now you're buying genuine olive oil okay all that other stuff that they sell in the supermarket here in America it's all [ __ ] it's all Bs okay it's not not cool man they they cool man because they're lying to the public oh great is oliveo look look look it's you know what you're buying garbage buy the real deal you want olive oil to help your body help all your ligaments because the olive oil is good for your ligaments too okay for all your joints it's like putting oil on your joint all your joints of oil from olive oil you know and that's all we do we make everything with olive oil in my house yes good everything we do is with olive oil we don't use butter we don't have even butter in my house have you used coconut oil that's what I use at the it's just more affordable yeah yeah yeah yeah we have coconut oil in my house and and by the way we don't do anything Dairy no milk oh no Dairy no Dairy oh yeah I wouldn't survive in your house yeah no no Dairy here I'll tell you why um there's an old say in America milk is for kids okay milk is for babies okay milk causes inflammation okay and most heart attack are caused by inflammation so that's that's why I don't drink milk okay I don't remember the last time I had a glass of milk I don't remember it might have been I don't know 15 20 years ago no you definitely don't need it it's uh it's an interesting one that you mentioned milk because in America especially the dairy industry is a massive industry and they spent I I I'm I'm making up numbers now but I'm assuming millions of dollars on advertising and propaganda basically telling people that they need to drink milk otherwise their bones are going to break and I know it was a big program in America to tell kids that they need to drink milk otherwise they're never going to grow up big and strong their bones are going to be brittle they're going to break um whereas now we know that that's probably not true you do need calcium and you do need and MK can have some good things like protein and whatnot but there are better Alternatives like like you've mentioned uh you you are going to be fine you're a perfect example of being fine somehow without drinking milk 100% I mean if if people go on my website I I got pictures on my website if you look at me I'm a man who doesn't drink milk yeah I get all my calcium through food yes right so like in my protein shake right one quar of the liquid is coconut milk okay coconut milk and the rest is water all the flavor comes from the vanilla protein the strawberries the blueberries that's where all the good flavor comes in the banana you know banana sweetens it up you know uh yeah you know bananas are high in potassium right yes okay correct okay so you know um you got to use food the trick got to use the trick of Growing Old use food eat well yeah yeah and use food to help you not harm you help you yes harm you so which one do you want you want help or you want harm I want help I want help I want help I want help too so listen I watched my father suffer my father died I'm sorry well check this out Rosco my father died suffering for years you know how many times we beat together I said Dad don't do that Dad don't why you he puts like nine scoops of sugar in his coffee one coffee nine scoops I said that are you serious yeah serious nine yeah nine scoops he would eat donuts for breakfast N I said that I'm sorry you know I mean and I watch him suff yumy the poor guy I watch him suffer you know he lost his kidneys everything was just falling apart I don't want to live like that man I really no one does so I don't think look if people of my age if you're in your 60s or you're in your 70s and you're listening to this you do whatever you want but sure you know no one's going to tell you how to live your life but if you try if you're listening to Rosco and I right now yeah yeah you know this is about living a healthy life yeah increasing your uh your health span as well as your lifespan exactly so there you go the last time I went to the doctor the doctor told me I have the insides forget the body on the outside I have the insides of a 20year old all my everything is like perfect my prostate I think it was like 0.1 perfect so my my blood pressure everything was and the you know the holistic doctor she was a woman doctor she said I can't believe you know the results of your your tests that you're doing really good and the reason for it is because what we're talking about yeah protocols you mentioned what we put in our body that's going to determine of of how you're going to live your life absolutely I I totally agree with with that sentiment um I just wanted to touch on I know it's way back when but when I mentioned whey protein you mentioned maltodextrin yeah and I just wanted to to go into that a little bit because whey protein is a fantastic source of protein um it's been proven and but like you said a lot of them have maltodextrin there are ways to find wayy proteins without multiex cuz multiexon is a filler and like you said it you don't want multiex um because it is just a filler it is a carbohydrate and in your protocol you don't like carbohydrates but I do recommend finding a clean way protein that doesn't have maltodextrin so that you can get away from you can still get the benefits of way without uh the negatives from the multidex 100% And my protein I believe it's called Sun s n Warrior Sun Warrior protein it has no malod dein or dextrine anything with dextrine in it don't eat it a it's a fill right yeah okay so yeah um I know a lot of guys they buy weight protein but they don't know you know they don't do the research that I did or all the research that you do and they don't know about MTO deex yeah so I I I've still I've I've also it's a lot cheaper often so I've actually used U ways with multo dextrin um just for from a financial standpoint um that that is the reason I wouldn't say that for me in in my protocol that it was necessarily bad because it it added to the calories but I was aware of it and like you said um the the calories are the important thing at the end of the day right right yeah we never touched on Creatine I never mentioned creatine yes because touch on it hey you know what there's so much positive things that they talk about creatine but I can't take creatine okay and I'll tell you why um the last time I took creatine mhm I couldn't breathe oh no ways I couldn't breathe something and I told my wife in the gym she go what's wrong she said you look white I said I don't know I'm having a I'm I'm looking for air she wases what did you take what did you take today I said I I took some creatine this was this was about like eight eight nine months ago okay and I and then she goes you okay I said yeah yeah I'm all right just having a hard time catching my breath and it was from the creatine so I can't take creatine creatine in me I might be allergic to it or something you might be allergic it sounds like you had an allergic reaction yeah and you know it was pretty it was scary it was pretty scary because it sounds scary yeah I know a lot of guys are on Crea and they swear by creative they love cre I I'm one of those guys yeah oh you're one of those guys I'm sorry yeah I'm sorry that you had a hard time with it that's not nice yeah I I think I'm allergic to creatine I can't take creatine yeah but like like you mentioned um it is really well studied and it is very safe for the majority of people but like everything there are people like yourself might be allergic to something so just because we say something is good for you doesn't necessarily mean it's definitely good for you it means you should try it and if it and if it works for you it works for you if it doesn't it doesn't like in your example here I recommend creating to everyone but now knowing that you tried it and it didn't work for you I wouldn't recommend it to you based on that reaction that you had to it and it's important that people do think about things and critically evaluate it for themselves and not just take your word or my word or anyone's word even if they are experts or not um but you need to really figure out what works for you and if it works brilliant use it if it doesn't you you probably there's other things that you can do um in place of that probably well I'm going to tell you if you if you can't take creatine you got to eat a little bit more meat red meat for sure cuz it's creatine and red meat it's loaded with creatine red meat is like all natural creatine in the meat so yeah so you don't need to take creatine uh if if you get like a a reaction the way I got it don't worry don't don't just don't take it no more and also you know what if you're going to try something for the first time always take a little bit little bit for sure how much did you take I took a scoop the first time I took a scoop one scoop whatever it monohydrate yeah monohydrate yeah okay interesting I I followed the instructions on the back of the of the jar I followed the instructions whatever it said I think it said one scoop and I took a scoop it it might also be that that particular brand that you use they might have spiked it with something else as well that could that could be what caused the reaction it might not have been pure creating monohydrate because like you said you eat a lot of red meat and that in my mind I'm thinking about it now that's still creatine so I don't think you are necessarily allergic to creatine maybe you're allergic to a filler that they put in with that creatine that's quite possible it's possible because my wife she she does all the buying my wife bought she bought an organic brand you said organic creatine I I didn't never even knew they made an organic creatine but she bought one that was organic creatine and I told her throw it in a garbage was like really expensive too r I'm sure I'm sure a lot of money yeah anything that says it's organic it's uh going to be more expensive because they had to do a a more sustainable process you hope to to extract it and to grow it and all of that right exactly okay uh anything else you want to cover um exercising you you kept exercising with the hernia is that correct yeah I do and the importance of continuing to exercise I think it is one of again uh person specific like if it's so bad that you can't like move it's probably different but in in your case can we just touch on what what you did when you had your hernia and how you continued to exercise you mention in your book about that kind of thing yeah okay so when I got my hernia and I started my own program this is what I did when I first got to hernia I took epson salt beds from for about 40 days straight hot Epson Sal beds and the reason for it is the Epson Sal it shrinks the size of the hernia it relaxes the hernia so also the moment I woke up in the morning I put on a hernia belt it's called a truss t u SS I wore a belt from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to sleep at night I make sure the belt what it does is it pushes the hernia inside the body so it's basically like training the hernia like telling the hernia you belong in here and when you take the belt off at night you got to see you don't have a lump the lump is in inside the body now if you're moving around for an hour two hours it starts to come out again but if you train it the way I was training my hernia it worked so for 40 days straight EPS so beds hernia belt constantly I didn't lift anything heavy when I'm in the gym I always put the hernia belt on even today when I go to the gym later I put the her hernia belt on because I don't want to rupture the area yeah so I always keep that hernia belt on now if if you could do a lot of massaging you Mass you massage the hernia down never up you always push down on the hernia push it in and keep massaging around the area because if you massage the muscle around it the muscle starts to get strong get stronger and what happens is the muscle now will hold the Heria inside the body okay and that's how I trained my hernia now now Hern is get flared up you can flare it up yeah and and one of the ways to flare it up is you know Eagle lifting at the gym you know if you're lifting something heavy you can flare it up uh stress if you if you're really really stressed out you you you'll inflame your hernia mhm so those are again I go back to stress you got to watch you know watch what you do you know um now I'm going to give you something really potent to treat your hernia castor oil okay did you hear castor oil I've heard of it okay if if you have any kind of soreness your elbow or your knees if you have any soreness I recommend castor oil c a s t o r oil castor oil okay all right right now if you could buy castor oil and you put it on your elbow or you put it I put it on my hernia okay you you do know that after an hour you don't even know I have a hernia wow can't see it that's the power of castor oil okay also you can for us old guys or old women if a woman's listening to this put castor oil on your face before you go to bed at night put some on your face on your forehead guess what it takes away your wrinkles wow interesting so you talk about anti-aging castor oil very very big okay very big castor oil so I rub castor oil on my hernia when I if I if it's getting flared up I put castor oil on it I go back to massaging I go back to the Basics I live a normal life I don't want a piece of mesh in my body that that's how they fix a hernia is that why you don't want the surgery I don't want I don't want nothing in my body okay so that's why I choose not to now okay a mesh surgery can snap okay and now if it snaps and the mesh pulls you're back in surgery again because now they got a fix it right so it's basically it's basically a patch that goes inside your body under all the layers of your skin they they put a patch which is called a mesh and they attach it to your muscle M and they and they sew you up I don't want that I don't want that I don't want that okay okay so that's why I don't want no forign things in my body F okay there's other I spoke to another podcast who who got the surgery a met surgery and they had so many complications after that so many things happened to them after they got that surgery sorry to hear that yeah yeah yeah it was another podcast that I did the the host was telling me that it was it was actually a woman she she had a hernia and uh she got the surgery she had a lot of complications after that so I I choose not to I don't like again it's my life yes absolutely you know if somebody chooses ah you know what I'm GNA get the surgery all right go get the surgery that that you know everybody's different I don't want the surgery yeah so I wrote I wrote a book here it is you see it here's the book any surgery there we go I'm living a normal life I'm doing crunches I'm doing leg raises I'm doing everything like a regular guy I got a six-pack guess what it didn't affect me nothing happened to me so I I I disagree with your point there about you're living a normal life I think uh it's if you compare yourself to other 65 year olds I think it's extraordinary I don't think it's ordinary which is which is sad as well because I I think it would be the world would be a lot better in a better place now if a lot if more people were active and healthy and all of that um but like you said I I know what you meant by living as you would have without the the Hera right exactly I mean even if you got the surgery rco you still got to watch how you work out yes yeah you know still got to be careful I actually got a text message this morning a long text message from a person that bought my book right the guy's name is Peter he sent me a long text message this morning MH thanking me over a year ago he bought my book he we did about 10 or 15 phone calls and today he's down to 160 lbs no surgery he's got a six-pack and he thanked me up and down actually today I told my wife and he thanked me again for helping him because he didn't want surgery either and he didn't do it nice well I'm so glad that you've been able to help people and I hope that that you're going to be able to help more people now on this podcast too and many more in the future I'm sure listen I want to be part of a movement and my movement is about health yes and you know doctors today they're different than doctors that from from my childhood from from my doctors are different today everything is surgery everything is conventional medicine they write prescriptions but they don't tell that prescriptions is going to hurt your liver or you're going to hurt your your liver but your kidneys so they don't tell you that though I don't even remember the last time I took conventional medicine because I don't believe I don't believe in conventional medicine I [Music] don't so I get you yeah you got to do like you said you got to find what works for you conventional medicine doesn't work for you so you've found alternatives and um that's what's working for you right and and and guess what just deal with it whatever whatever is going on in your life take take a deep breath get a positive mindset yeah and deal with it right way when you run to the doctor he's going to put you on all kinds of medicine and you know what you know how do you think the opioid uh um EP yeah the epid mic how did you get started a doctor will write your prescription because you got you got pain in your elbow or you got pain in your in your shoulder what is you right vicad then or or peret and what happened to those people they got addicted and now they went to heroin and they got they got on heroin wow so come on you know you know if you got a toot EG deal with it why are you going to go run to the doctor is going to write your prescription and then there's a possibility you might get hooked on pills yeah no I understand and that it's not it's not a nice uh thought to have yeah I listen I'm here to help I'm not here you know to change people's minds but I'm here to help you and this is the way this is the way I can help people before I close my before I close my eyes I want to know that
